Comprehensive Plan

The Town of Seabrook Island is currently soliciting public comments on a 5-year update to its comprehensive plan. The comprehensive plan, which was last updated in 2019, is divided into ten elements. A copy of each draft element may be viewed by clicking the appropriate link under the "Draft Elements" header on this page.
The town will host a public drop-in meeting at Seabrook Island Town Hall on Wed. September 11th from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. During the drop-in meeting, attendees can learn more about the comprehensive planning process, review proposed updates to the town's existing plan, ask questions of town and county planning staff, and provide additional comments. The town will also accept electronic comments submitted through the Online Comment Portal below. All comments will be forwarded to members of the Seabrook Island Planning Commission for review prior to endorsing the final version of the comprehensive plan. Electronic comments will be accepted until 4:00 PM on Mon. September 30th.
