Councilman Patrick Faulkner

Councilman Patrick Faulkner has a long history in the Carolinas. Pat and his wife Mary Beth lived in Charlotte for 40 years. They also enjoyed a house on Edisto Beach, South Carolina, for 18 years until they sold, and bought a home on Seabrook Island in 2023. They have been full-time residents on Seabrook Island since 2024.
Councilman Faulkner retired as a seasoned healthcare industry professional with 40 years of experience overseeing the planning, design, construction, and delivery of major healthcare projects totaling over $2 billion. Pat worked from both the owner and contractor perspectives, developing strong leadership, relationship and operational skills. Pat developed strong relationships with Regional Health Systems, healthcare planners, architects, and contractors. He has a proven track record of assembling successful project delivery teams. His early involvement in capital projects has been instrumental in streamlining costs, reducing risks, and delivering award winning project outcomes. Pat has led sectional fund-raising efforts for Charlotte United Way, served on the Steele Creek YMCA Board, and has participated in, and contributed to many healthcare related fund-raising efforts. Since moving to Seabrook Island, Pat has been on the SIPOA architectural review committee, the club equestrian committee, and is President of his neighborhood HOA. For recreation, Pat and Mary Beth enjoy travel, golf, pickleball, and bicycles. Pat drives a 60-year-old British car which keeps him involved in the British Car Club of Charleston, and enjoys “turning wrenches” on his various vehicles and bicycles. Pat holds a B.A. degree with honors from the University of Pittsburgh and attended the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Business. Town Service
