Councilman Thomas Hund

Tom has recently retired from a career in planning, strategic visioning, and architecture. Tom served as a principal in several design firms, most recently McMillan, Pazden, Smith Architecture. Tom has also served his profession and community by having held leadership positions with the SC Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and the SC District Council of the Urban Land Institute.
Tom was appointed to the Town of Seabrook Island's Planning Commission in 2023 and served as chairman of the Planning Commission for the last two years. Tom also serves as an Ambassador to the Seabrook Island Master Planning Project. Tom enjoys playing golf, spending time at the beach, working out, volunteering, and spending time with friends and family. Tom and Julie have four sons, ten grandchildren, and Scooby, the family dog. Tom and Julie are both graduates of Clemson University, and have lived on Seabrook Island since 2020. Tom is pleased to join Town Council and looks forward to help nurture our island community and all that it has to offer. Town Service
