From time to time, the Town of Seabrook Island will procure goods and services from qualified firms and suppliers using a competitive procurement process. All active requests for bids (RFB), requests for proposals (RFP) and requests for qualifications (RFQ) will be posted below.
Please note that all contractors and subcontractors doing work with the Town of Seabrook Island must obtain a town business license. All contractors and subcontractors must also register and participate in the federal E-Verify work authorization program to verify the employment authorization of all new employees, pursuant to Section 8-14-20(B) of the S.C. Debris Management Services (On-Call) Sealed bids by licensed contractors will be received by the Town of Seabrook Island on the Due Date indicated below for all labor, equipment and materials to provide on-call debris management services.
A bid package, consisting of (1) General Terms and Conditions, (2) Special Terms and Conditions, (3) Scope of Services, (4) Form of Contract, (5) Insurance Requirements and (6) Non-Collusion Oath, may be obtained at the Seabrook Island Town Hall during normal business hours or by clicking the link below. Except as otherwise specifically noted, the entire bid package must be used in preparing bids.

CWSRF Project No. 727-02:
WWTP Effluent Storage & Pumping Improvements Sealed bids will be received by the Seabrook Island Utility Commission (SIUC) on April 9, 2024, until 2:00 PM EST for construction of WWTP Effluent Storage and Pumping Improvements (CWSRF Project No. 727-02), at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Seabrook Island Town Hall, 2001 Seabrook Island Road, John’s Island, SC 29455.
Bids must be submitted on the complete project and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, addressed to Seabrook Island Utility Commission, 2001 Seabrook Island Road, John’s Island, SC 29455. Outside of the envelope must be marked “WWTP Effluent Storage and Pumping Improvements (CWSRF Project No. 727-02), Division ____, or Divisions______.” Envelope must also bear, on the outside, the name of the bidder, bidder’s address, and bidder’s license number. All bids must be made on blank forms provided and included in the bound document or as provided by Addendum prior to bid. This project is being funded by a loan from the State Revolving Fund (SRF) and bidders must comply with all applicable state and federal requirements identified in the bid documents, including Davis-Bacon and “American Iron and Steel” provisions.
