The Town of Seabrook Island is such a beautiful and welcoming place to live or visit year round. During the year there are a wealth of events that make our island even more alluring, from art shows to sporting events to conservation efforts.
As part of The Town of Seabrook's commitment to conserving the natural beauty of its unique ecosystem, volunteer residents closely monitor the turtle nesting and hatching season. The season begins around May 1 until the end of October. For turtle related links go to our Links page. The Bohicket Invitational Billfish Tournament is held in late June. It is the third leg of the Governor's Cup Billfishing Series. It is a three day event, which awards points for the tag and release of billfish. The event is now in its ninth season and has become a model for other states and countries. Seabrook's periodic art shows feature works by local and international artists and a broad range styles. Scheduling for these shows takes place in the spring. Camp St. Christopher is the Episcopal Church retreat located on Seabrook. For more information call 843-768-0429 |
