Bids & Proposals

From time to time, the Town of Seabrook Island will procure goods and services from qualified firms and suppliers using a competitive procurement process. All active requests for bids (RFB), requests for proposals (RFP) and requests for qualifications (RFQ) will be posted below.

Please note that all contractors and subcontractors doing work with the Town of Seabrook Island must obtain a town business license. All contractors and subcontractors must also register and participate in the federal E-Verify work authorization program to verify the employment authorization of all new employees, pursuant to Section 8-14-20(B) of the S.C. Code of Laws.

IFB 2024-04:
Multi-Use Pathway Fence Replacement
The Town of Seabrook Island is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors for all labor, equipment and materials for the removal and replacement of the fence along the multi-use pathway adjacent to Seabrook Island Road.

A copy of the Invitation for Bids ("IFB") may be obtained at Seabrook Island Town Hall during normal business hours or by clicking the link below. Except as otherwise specifically noted, the entire bid package must be used in preparing bids.

  • ​Date Issued:  October 29, 2024
  • Description of Services:  The Town will contract with the successful bidder for the removal and replacement of the fence along the multi-use pathway adjacent to Seabrook Island Road. Contractor must be able to complete work on or before December 31, 2024.
  • Bid Security:  Not Required
  • Pre-Bid Information:  Prospective bidders should contact Robert Meyer, Buildings & Grounds Manager, by email at [email protected] or by phone at (843) 768-9121 to schedule an appointment for a site walkthrough prior to submitting a bid.
  • Due Date For Bids:  November 8, 2024 @ 2:00 PM
  • Bid Opening Date:  November 8, 2024 @ 2:00 PM
  • Bid Opening Location:  Seabrook Island Town Hall, Council Chambers, 2001 Seabrook Island Road, Seabrook Island, SC 29455
  • To Submit a Proposal:  Sealed bids must be received no later than 2:00 PM on November 8, 2024. Sealed bids must be returned by mail or hand delivery to Town of Seabrook Island, Attn: Robert Meyer, 2001 Seabrook Island Road, Seabrook Island, SC 29455. Sealed envelopes must be clearly marked “IFB 2024-04." Sealed bid packages must include one (1) completed Official Bid Form (see Attachment #1) and one (1) signed Non-Collusion Oath (See Attachment #2).
