Councilman Raymond Hamilton
Councilman Raymond Hamilton has a long history with South Carolina where he grew up in Rock Hill and attended the University of South Carolina. After graduation, Councilman Hamilton and his wife, Stephanie, spent the next 28-years in Atlanta where they raised their two children. In 2017 they purchased property on Seabrook Island and built their home. They became full-time residents in 2020.
Councilman Hamilton’s career has spanned over 34-years in accounting with twenty-six of those years serving as Chief Financial Officer in various industries. He still serves as CFO for an International Company located in Summerville but is lucky to work from home. As CFO, Councilman Hamilton’s experience included managing Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Legal. When not working or in TOSI meetings, Councilman Hamilton spends time at various volunteer positions with organizations such as Charleston Area Therapeutic Riding (CATR), My Sisters House (a local organization supporting survivors of domestic violence), Sea Island Hunger Awareness Foundation, and Holy Spirit Catholic Church. You will also find him spoiling his beautiful granddaughter, kayaking, jogging, and enjoying the beach. Councilman Hamilton was elected to Town Council in November 2023. Town Service
