Administration Department
Joe Cronin, Town AdministratorThe Town Administrator is appointed by the Mayor and members of Town Council to assist the Mayor with managing the day-to-day operations of the town. The Town Administrator is responsible for supervising town staff, implementing the town's budget and managing outside service providers. The Town Administrator is also designated as the Operations Official under the town's Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan.

Nichole Nettles, Administration DirectorThe Administration Director serves as the primary point of contact for individuals and entities seeking to establish or renew a business license within the town limits. The Administration Director assists homeowners, builders and contractors in obtaining necessary permits for construction, maintenance and renovation work within the town, and coordinates permitting and inspection activities with Charleston County. The Administration Director also oversees the town's human resources (HR) and information technology (IT) functions.

Peter Wiggins II, Town ClerkThe Town Clerk is appointed by the Mayor and members of Town Council. The Town Clerk serves as the secretary for all regular, special, and emergency meetings for Town Council and various boards, commissions and committees of the town. The Town Clerk is responsible for maintaining official town records for the town and for processing FOIA requests. The Town Clerk also serves as the Clerk of Court.

Lauren Compasso, Administrative AssistantThe Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative duties in support of the Mayor, Town Administrator, and other members of town staff. The Administrative Assistant serves as the initial point of contact for the public and responds to various types of inquiries, complaints, and requests. The Administrative Assistant also assists with the administration of business licensing and short-term rental regulations.

Community Affairs Department
Abigail Grooms, Community Affairs DirectorThe Community Affairs Director is responsible for planning and implementing the town’s overall communication and public engagement strategies, including citizen engagement, communication, content creation, event management, media relations, public outreach, and website and social media management. The Community Affairs Director is also designated as the Public Information Officer under the town's Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan.

Finance Department
Amber Howard, Finance DirectorThe Finance Director is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the town. The Finance Director ensures the fiscal integrity and long-term financial sustainability of the town through sound financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and management of financial systems. The Finance Director develops and implements policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard public funds and support strategic goals.

Maintenance Department
Robert Meyer, Maintenance DirectorThe Maintenance Director is responsible for the general maintenance and repair of all facilities and grounds owned and/or maintained by the town, including Town Hall, Seabrook Island Road, public pathways and beaches, as well as all town-owned vehicles and equipment. The Maintenance Director manager also plans, schedules, coordinates, directs and oversees the work of seasonal personnel and contracted service providers.

Planning & Zoning Department
Tyler Newman, Planning & Zoning DirectorThe Planning & Zoning Director is responsible for the administration of the town’s planning, zoning, and code enforcement functions. The Planning & Zoning Director interprets, monitors and enforces a variety of applicable ordinances, codes, and regulations related to zoning, business licensing, permitting, nuisance abatement, and health and safety issues. The Planning & Zoning Director also serves as the town's Chief Code Enforcement Officer.

Beth Rinehimer, STR Compliance ManagerThe Short-Term Rental (STR) Compliance Manager is responsible for administering and enforcing the town’s STR ordinance. The STR Compliance Manager processes STR permit applications, ensures compliance with the town’s STR regulations, coordinates the inspection of STR units, enforces violations of the STR ordinance, and responds to public inquiries, complaints, and requests for service.

Mike Williams, Code Enforcement OfficerCode Enforcement Officers are responsible for identifying, investigating and enforcing alleged violations of the town's Code of Ordinances and Development Standards Ordinance. Code Enforcement Officers are empowered by the Mayor and Town Council to issue an ordinance summons in instances where a violation is alleged to have occurred. Code Enforcement Officers have the same powers and duties as a constable.
