ATAX Advisory Committee

The Accommodations Tax (ATAX) Advisory Committee meets at least one time per year for the purpose of reviewing and providing recommendations to Town Council on the expenditure of funds generated by the State Accommodations Tax, as required by Sec. 6-24-25 of the S.C. Code of Laws. Meetings typically take place in the fall in conjunction with development of the annual budget; however, additional meetings may be scheduled at any time on an as-needed basis. All meetings are scheduled by the Chair with at least 24 hours' public notice.
Unless otherwise stated on the agenda, all ATAX Advisory Committee meetings will take place at Seabrook Island Town Hall. Agendas will be posted at least 24 hours in advance of each meeting. All meetings are open to the public and will be live streamed on the town's YouTube channel. |
