Ordinance 2022-04
During its next regular meeting on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at 2:30 pm, Seabrook Island Town Council is scheduled to consider second (and final) reading of the following ordinance:
Ordinance 2022-04
An ordinance to repeal and replace the Town of Seabrook Island Development Standards Ordinance (“DSO”); to repeal and replace the Town of Seabrook Island Zoning Map; and to repeal conflicting provisions from the Town Code for the Town of Seabrook Island
A copy of the amended ordinance (including all exhibits) may be viewed by clicking the links above. The ordinance may also be viewed at Town Hall during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm).
The Town Council meeting will take place at Seabrook Island Town Hall, 2001 Seabrook Island Road, Seabrook Island, SC. During the meeting, residents will be provided an opportunity to make comments (up to 3 minutes per person) on the amended ordinance during the Public Comment period of the agenda. Written comments may also be submitted prior to the meeting, as provided below.

Individuals who wish to submit a written comment in advance of the Town Council meeting may do so in writing by 12:00 pm on the day of the meeting using one of the following options:

Submit an Online CommentTown Council will accept online comments on Ord. 2022-04 until 12:00 PM on the day of the meeting. All comments received through this portal will be forwarded to Council in advance of the meeting. Comments will not receive a written response, but may be addressed or discussed by Council during the public hearing. Please note that all comments will become part of the public record and may be subject to release under the requirements of the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act. |
