Notice is hereby provided that Seabrook Island Town Council will hold an emergency meeting on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Seabrook Island Town Hall, 2001 Seabrook Island Road, Seabrook Island, South Carolina. During the emergency meeting, Town Council will consider the following Emergency Ordinance:
Emergency Ordinance 2020-01
An Emergency Ordinance to adopt the provisions of the Mayor’s Executive Order Nos. 2020-01 and 2020-02; to adopt emergency provisions related to certain types of business establishments; to adopt emergency provisions related to Short-Term Rental Units; to adopt emergency provisions related to Town Meetings; to provide for enforcement and penalties of emergency provisions; and other matters related thereto
Consistent with recent recommendations from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) related to “social distancing,” the Town of Seabrook Island is requesting that members of the public who wish to observe this meeting dial in by telephone: Phone Number: (712) 770-5505; Access Code: 659-714
Individuals who wish to submit an online comment on Emergency Ordinance 2020-01 may do so using the form below. No public hearing will be held during the meeting. Submit an Online CommentTown Council will accept online comments on Emergency Ordinance 2020-01 until Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 12:00 PM. All comments received through this portal will be forwarded to Council in advance of the emergency meeting. Comments will not receive a written response, but may be addressed or discussed by Council during the meeting. Please note that all comments will become part of the public record and may be subject to release under the requirements of the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act. |
