PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Notice is hereby provided that a Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at 2:25 p.m. at Seabrook Island Town Hall, 2001 Seabrook Island Road, Seabrook Island, South Carolina. During the public hearing, Town Council will receive comments on the following ordinance:
Ordinance 2019-07
An ordinance authorizing the issuance and sale of a not to exceed $4,500,000 General Obligation Bond, Series 2019, or such other appropriate series designation, of the Town of Seabrook Island South Carolina or one or more notes issued in anticipation thereof to pay the costs of repairs, replacements and debris removal arising from a major disaster and the cost of issuance of such bond or notes; fixing the form and details of the bond; authorizing the Mayor and the Town Administrator, or either of them acting alone, to prescribe certain details relating to the bond; providing for the payment of the bond and the disposition of the proceeds thereof; and other matters relating thereto

Submit an Online CommentTown Council will accept online comments on Ordinance 2019-07 until Friday, July 19, 2019 at 12:00 PM. All comments received through this portal will be forwarded to Council in advance of the public hearing. Any individual submitting a written comment may also attend and speak at the scheduled public hearing. Comments will not receive a written response, but may be addressed or discussed by Council during the public hearing. Please note that all comments will become part of the public record and may be subject to release under the requirements of the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act. |
