Councilwoman Patricia Fox
Councilwoman Patricia Fox and her husband, John, first purchased property on Seabrook Island in the 1980's and became full time residents in 2008. A native of Westbury, New York, Pat moved to the Lowcounty in 1976. She spent 38 years teaching at Trident Technical College and was the Dean of the Film, Media and Visual Arts division when she retired in 2017.
Following her retirement, Pat joined the Tidelines team as both an editor and graphic designer. She has also served a member of the Board of Directors for the Seabrook Island Green Space Conservancy, where she used her skills to create a new SIGSC website as well as design all the printed material for the annual gala and fall newsletters. Councilwoman Fox was first elected to Town Council in November 2019 and was reelected in November 2021. She currently serves as chair of the town's Community Promotion and Engagement Committee. She has also been assigned the role of Communications Official under the town’s Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan. Town Service
