Invitation for Sealed Bids 2008 Jeep Wrangler The Town of Seabrook Island is soliciting sealed bids for the sale of the following surplus vehicle:
The vehicle is being sold as-is where-is with no representation express or implied. The vehicle may be viewed at Seabrook Island Town Hall during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm). The minimum bid price is $500.00. Sealed bids must be sent to the Town of Seabrook Island, Attn: Town Administrator, 2001 Seabrook Island Road, Seabrook Island, SC 29455. The envelope must be clearly marked “2008 Jeep Wrangler.” All bids must be submitted on an official Vehicle Bid Form, which may be obtained at Town Hall, by calling (843) 768-9121, or by clicking the link below. The deadline to submit a bid is 2:00 pm on Friday, February 22, 2019. Bids will be opened at 2:30 pm on Friday, February 22, 2019 in the office of the Town Administrator. The winning bid is expected to be awarded by Town Council on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. The Town of Seabrook Island reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The successful bidder will be required to take possession of the vehicle within seven (7) business days of the award. Cash or certified bank check is required to take immediate possession. On January 10, 2019, Mayor Ron Ciancio administered the oath of office to Annie Smith-Jones, who was recently appointed by Town Council as the newest member of the Seabrook Island Utility Commission.
Ms. Smith-Jones replaces Jim Bannwart, who resigned his position in late 2018 upon moving outside the town limits. She will serve for the remainder of Mr. Bannwart's term, which will expire in November 2023. She joins fellow commissioners Tim Morawski and Lee Vancini, and is the first female commissioner in the SIUC's history, 2019 Tide Tables are now available at Seabrook Island Town Hall. Residents may stop by Town Hall during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm) to pick up a free copy.
