Town to host AirMedCare public drop-in meetings on July 26th and July 30th

The Town of Seabrook Island and the AirMedCare Network will host two public drop-in meetings for residents and property owners to learn more about the AirMedCare program:

• Thu. July 26th, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM @ Town Hall
• Mon. July 30th, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM @ Town Hall

During the public drop-in meetings, residents and property owners can:

• Learn more about their FREE AirMedCare Network membership
• Purchase additional air transport coverage at discounted rates 
• Q&A with AirMedCare Network staff

Background

In the fall of 2016, the Town of Seabrook Island entered into a membership agreement with the AirMedCare Network to offer emergency air transport services to individuals who reside or own property in the Town of Seabrook Island.

Under the agreement, any individual who is transported for medical necessity by MEDUCARE Air (or any AirMedCare Network provider) will be covered under the terms and conditions of a standard AirMedCare Network membership, provided the transport originates from a location in Charleston County.
