The annual Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks Display will take place on Sunday, July 3rd, at the Seabrook Island Club.
The primary spectator area for the fireworks will be located on the Club's driving range, located behind the clubhouse at 3771 Seabrook Island Road. The range will open at 4:00 pm, with music, food, and beverage sales beginning at 6:00 pm. The fireworks display, which is sponsored by the Town of Seabrook Island, will begin shortly after 9:00 pm. The event will feature live entertainment from the Lauren Hall Duo (6:00-7:00 PM), The Break Circuit (7:00-7:30 PM), and the Midnight City Band (7:30-9:00 PM). Other family-friendly activities, such as interactive break dancers, face painting station, backyard dominoes, yard yahtzee, yard jenga, and a balloon artist, will be available. Food will also be available for purchase from three food stations: All-American, Smokehouse, and Chilled Seafood. Parking at the Club will be limited. Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, or take the shuttle. The shuttle will run between the clubhouse and the SIPOA Lake House (2319 Seabrook Island Road) on a continuous 25-minute loop. The first pick up at the Lake House will be at 4:30 PM. The final shuttle will depart the clubhouse at 10:15 PM. In the event of inclement weather, the rain date will be Tues. July 5th. Please join us at Seabrook Island Town Hall on Thurs. December 9th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm for our second annual drive-thru Holiday Party! We'll have sweet holiday treats, a drive-thru light display and festive holiday music. Visitors are asked to remain in their vehicles while attending the event. Face coverings are recommended, but not required.
Once again, the town will be collecting new, unwrapped toys in support of Toys for Tots. Toy donations may be dropped off at Seabrook Island Town Hall beginning on Mon. November 29th, and will be collected through the conclusion of the drive-thru Holiday Party. In observance of Juneteenth, our newest federal holiday, Seabrook Island Town Hall will close at noon on Friday, June 18th.
Charleston County offices will also close at noon on Friday in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. Juneteenth was established as a federal holiday on Thu. June 17, 2021, when President Joe Biden signed the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act into law. The holiday celebrates the emancipation of African-American slaves in the United States.
