​Please join us at Seabrook Island Town Hall on Thurs. December 9th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm for our second annual drive-thru Holiday Party! We'll have sweet holiday treats, a drive-thru light display and festive holiday music. Visitors are asked to remain in their vehicles while attending the event. Face coverings are recommended, but not required. 

Once again, the town will be collecting new, unwrapped toys in support of Toys for Tots. Toy donations may be dropped off at Seabrook Island Town Hall beginning on Mon. November 29th, and will be collected through the conclusion of the drive-thru Holiday Party.

The Town of Seabrook Island will host its next community shredding event on Fri. October 29th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. 

The shredding event will take place in the parking lot adjacent to Seabrook Island Town Hall (2001 Seabrook Island Road) and will be held rain or shine. 

Attendees will be limited to three boxes (copy paper box or smaller) or three bags (kitchen trash bag or smaller) per vehicle. There is no need to remove binders, binder clips, paper clips, staples, rubber bands, or CDs/DVDs prior to shredding.

Shredding services will be provided free of charge to residents of Seabrook Island by Shred360.

​The Town of Seabrook Island and the Seabrook Island Club are pleased to announce that our annual Independence Day Celebration will return on Sat. July 3rd!

The event will be held at the Seabrook Island Club, which is located at 3771 Seabrook Island Road. The primary spectator area for the fireworks will be located on the Club's driving range, which is located behind the Clubhouse.

The club grounds will open at 5:00 pm. Grill and bar service will begin at 6:00 pm and the fireworks will begin at approximately 9:00 pm. The fireworks are sponsored by the Town of Seabrook Island. 

Attendees are encouraged to carpool to the event. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no shuttle service this year.

In the event of inclement weather, the rain date will be Mon. July 5th.

With the influx of friends, family, and guests for the upcoming 4th of July holiday, please remember the town’s Emergency Ordinance No. 2021-03 is still in effect. The Town’s ordinance encourages individuals – especially unvaccinated individuals and children under 12 – to wear a face covering in public settings where they will be located in close proximity to others who are not members of the same household and where it is not feasible to maintain six (6) feet of separation.

The Town of Seabrook Island has announced the dates for two FREE shredding events in 2021:

• Spring Shredding Event: Fri. May 21st from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
• Fall Shredding Event: Fri. October 29th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

On Thurs. December 10th, Mayor John Gregg, members of Seabrook Island Town Council and town staff were on hand to welcome guests to Town Hall during our first ever Drive-Thru Christmas Party. Attendees were treated to sweet holiday treats from Wildflour Pastry, a drive-thru light display on the grounds of Town Hall and festive holiday music.

December 10th was also the last day to drop off a toy for our Toys for Tots toy drive. This year, thanks to your generosity, we collected a total of 6 full boxes of toys! The toys were delivered to the Toys for Tots office in Summerville on December 11th, where they will be distributed to children and families throughout the Charleston region. 

If you didn't get a chance to see the Christmas lights at Town Hall during the Drive-Thru Christmas Party, they will remain on display until January 4th.

• This will be a drive-through only event; please stay in your car at all times.
• Please place all items in your trunk or cargo area; personnel from Shred 360 will remove them for you.
• Shred 360 personnel will be wearing masks at all times.
• Please wear a mask if you exit your vehicle or have direct face-to-face contact with Shred 360 personnel.

The town's fall shredding event is scheduled to take place on Fri. October 23rd from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
