South Carolina is one of the most vulnerable states in the nation to be impacted by hurricanes, so emergency preparedness is especially important for residents of barrier island communities. Please plan to attend the Disaster Awareness Day on Fri. June 14, 2019, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Seabrook Island Club Clubhouse (Atlantic Room). The event is co-sponsored by the Town of Seabrook Island and the Town of Kiawah Island. This year’s program will feature a variety of subject area experts on three panels, including:
Valuable prizes will be raffled off throughout the event, and one lucky winner will receive the grand prize of an Amazon Echo! A FREE lunch will be provided to attendees at 12:00 pm following the conclusion of the program. No RSVP is required.
